Printing and Posting a Flyer to Promote your Fundraiser

Last Updated: Jul 27, 2016 02:49PM CDT
Now that you've uploaded a stunning image for your fundraiser and written a summary that perfectly (and concisely!) captures the essence of your fundraising efforts, we have everything we need to give you a ready-to-print flyer that you can post anywhere that your heart desires!

The flyer is easy to find, located right in the Resources tab of your Dashboard (click on your name after you've logged in, then My Pages, then Edit Fundraiser). Team Captains as well as Team Members have access to this flyer.  So if you're not on a team yet and you're looking for an easy way to help share and promote a fundraiser, just request to join the fundraising team!

Once you are ready to print your flyer, you may see that it is automatically pulling in a ton of information.  That unique link will direct people right to your fundraiser.  The title and the summary are pulled directly from the information that you wrote when you created the fundraiser. But you can always edit that within the "Details" tab of your Dashboard if you want to make any tweaks.  The picture for the flyer is the featured photo that you chose to appear as the main image for the fundraiser.  If you would like to change the picture for the flyer, just go into your Photos and Videos tab in the Dashboard to change which image is featured. Try to find an uplifting and high resolution image that clearly displays who you're raising funds for!

Here's a great example of a GiveForward flyer!

Where should you post the flyer?

This flyer can be used anywhere! We've seen our fundraisers get really creative in how they use the flyer, so we wanted to share a few different ways that you can use the flyer, but the possibilities are endless!
  • Post the flyer in high traffic community based areas: churches, schools, city halls, libraries or rec centers
  • Hang it up on community boards in local coffee shops, restaurants or local businesses
  • Bring copies of the flyer to any fundraising events, garage sales or spaghetti dinners that are being organized for the efforts
