Multiple Donation Attempts
If you or a donor are attempting to donate to a fundraiser and receiving an error message, there are a few things you can check to make sure your donation goes through!
Make sure all of your billing information is correct. Double check with your banking institution to make sure the exact name and address you are inputting is correct and up to date. Confirm the expiration date and the last 3 numbers (the CVV code) on the back of the credit card you attempting to donate with are correct when you type them into the site.
It's important to keep in mind that depending on your particular bank, the donations that have been declined may be held as a pending charge on your account. These charges will drop off within a few days, as they have not gone through and been processed in our system.
If you think you may gave given twice by accident, double check to make sure you didn't receive two confirmation emails. If you did, contact us at email@example.com or 312-322-1200 and we'll be happy to assist you with a refund of the accidental duplicate donation
